Actually, it costed me $69 CDN with NO TAX. If I were to buy it from the store the day it comes out, I'd have to pay $79 + TAX....I am saving about $20 AND getting a buttload of free stuffs!

And the features like making of, video features are pretty fun to watch as well!

its awesome if you have it though. I had like a 15 kill spree with it. If you keep your distance with the battle rifle its not hard to kill the person with it, or use dual plasma rifles.

Heh, this game is basically taking up all the time that I usually spend on forums and such.

While I would have liked to play as Master Chief for the whole game, the parts where you played as the Arbiter actually were pretty awesome... except for that one level with the flood. That was lame.

I really would have liked to go back to earth, if not to just play one level where the whole point would be to drive around in a city in a warthog or something and just laying the smack down on the covenant.

Hmm, people are saying that the game's plot and encounters are different on higher difficulty levels... interesting.

yeah well i might not play much anymore. The game is rather shit to be honest. The game is so unbalanced in multiplayer. Sometimes a shotgun will kill in one hit close range, sometimes it takes 5 hits close range. Its just crazy and im sick of it.

I personally thought it was a great game, tested out multiplayer for a while after I stopped moruning over the non-existant ending, and its pretty damn good. I noticed the shotgun thing, at close range you can get a onme hit KO, but I think its balanced out due to the alien weapons and duel weaponry which penetrates your armor faster than Michael Jackson.

I still hate this game. What I hate most about it, is the steem it took away from other better games. Halo 2 does not deserve to even be spoken in the same sentence as game of the year. Bungie needs to release a patch or something. Hell Splinter Cell PT has better multiplayer. I guess it shows they say they only had 3 people work on multiplayer with about 80 guys working on single player, they both suck. Bungie only sold this game off hype, if it werent for hype i doubt 1million copies would have been sold in the first week.

I don't know if I'm just getting bored or what, but Xbox Live doesn't have the same attraction to it as when I was back playing the original Rainbow Six 3 - maybe it's because I've had it so long I take it for granted, or maybe it's because of these shitty little games like Halo 2 which are like a parasite - drawing everything away from the good games, leaving lobbies lonely, optimatch obsolete, and a friends list full of "playing Halo 2".

Halo 2 is better than most games in multiplayer, but if you play ti all the time it will be boring and you won't like it that much. People need to learn that too much of something kills it, thats one of the reason I stopped playing it. Along with the masses now own it and also now have Live, and the masses are little kids with no lifes who have annoying voices.

Theres drawbacks to the game, but that doesn't mean it sucks. Just ebcause something attracts more attention does not mean it doesn't deserve it as much as other games that are out. If they were truly that great and met everyones gaming needs/habits, they would attract more attention.

Some people don't like the same type of games as others and won't play them no matter what, let alone buy them because other people find that great.

Stop bitching about this game and how it takes away from others, because it doesn't take away that much. People are still on other games, go whine to them about them not being on.
