and a dance pad.
it's fun.
What are other good Bemani type games? I promtly burned Feet of Fury (downloadable freeware game for Dreamcast) and used a Playstation pad converter to hook the dance mat to my DC to play.
I'm eyeing ParaParaParadise for Dreamcast, but what are some good rhythm games for PS2?
Oh my god do I love Bemani. Some good rhythm games include:
Taiko no Tatsujin - A drumming game that is a million times better than Donkey Konga.
Pop'n Music - There are nine buttons (as seen below), which means nine times the fun. It's really expensive because the controller has to be shipped from Japan, but I have found it to be worth it.

Beatmania IIDX - Features 7 piano-like keys, and record thing, for DJ-like spinning. Is super cool.

Those and DDR would be my four favorite homeplay rhythm games, and yes I own all of them.
I've played ParaPara at an arcade, but never for homeplay. The whole motion sensor thing is cool.
If you like DDR, you should download StepMania (www.stepmania.com) for your PC. You use the arrow keys on your keyboard, and since it's easier and less tiring to use your fingers than using your feet, some of the stepfiles that people make are ridiculously fast/hard/cool. Stepfiles can be download at www.turtleddr.com (For the original DDR songs) and www.bemanistyle.com (For originals).
I'm going to go play Pop'n.

Gitaroo Man. Rez.
But see if you can get Rez for the Dreamcast. Dreamcast is better.

Pats, Thanks bunches.
Asarien, I already own Rez on PS2. The framerate is twice as fast as the DC version, and it has the trance vibrator, but it also suffers slowdown and jaggies (which was nonexistant in the Dreamcast one).

Yes. It's titled DDREXTREME, bub.
EDIT: OH! I KNEW I FORGOT ONE! Space Channel 5: Part 2.
Asarien's number one favorite rhythm game of all time.

I so want to get Gitaroo Man, but like hell if that will ever get found in stores. :(

You will not find it in stores. The only way to get an American version is if you look for it on eBay.
