On March 1, 2005, The Mars Volta will release "Frances The Mute," an explosive, 77 minute CD which may just become the best album in my collection, (of course, I don't own a copy of De-Loused In The Comatorium.)

Frances the Mute was originally supposed to contain one single 77 minute song, but Universal made them divide it into five. Which isn't surprising, because Deloused in the Comatorium was supposed to be only 2 songs. (when you listen to it in it's entirety, there is only one real "break").

Anyway, it leaked a few weeks ago, and I was all over that shit. It's good, but basically more of the same as DitC. I was expecting something completely new from TMV. I dunno why. I'm definitely buying it though.

I'm really digging their stuff, I just got into them a little while ago. I'm probably going to preorder the CD. Like I said, I had never really listened to Deloused in the Comatorium, so I can't form much of an opinion as far as the similarity between the two albums.
