More and more scary movies lately seems to be using kids to "scare" people.

I'm sure they've been using kids in horror movies for a years and years now, but it seems like every scary movie they'd either have dead children or just some weird personality ones that can see the undead or something or they quickly pass by the screen..


Are kids in horror movies suppose to be scary or what?

I think the child idea is a bit overplayed...more specifically, the little girl idea is overplayed. Honestly, it isn't scary and I'd wish someone would actually make a scary movie. They all suck.

If so, he could be straying from the path or righteousness and be living a secret life of drugs, sex and alcohol. Tomorrow on WEEC Christian Radio 100.7"

The scary children thing is supposed to work because of the juxtaposition of the child's innocence with the elements of horror.
But it's nothing special anymore.

Adults are scarier because they are taller.

But those kids in 'Elephant' were quite scary, in a very subtle and downplayed way.
That was an excellent movie.
