Light guns for HDTVs?

I just got a 30 inch 1080i Widescreen Flatscreen HDTV. I'm dissapointed to find out that Lightguns do not work on these TVs. Does anyone know method to get these guns to work, OR a lightgun designed to work on these TVs?

Already stated, but will again..

Lightguns DO NOT WORK on Projection style TVS.. the guns are not made to work on them.. Think about how a lightgun works.. its looking for points on the screen, with projection, it just goes right through the screen, hits the mirror on the back, and goes wherever it wants to.. always to the edges.. you can be 1" from a 60" TV, shoot dead center, and it will show up in a corner every time.. I lost $60 on 2 DC lightguns for HOD2 on DC to learn that lesson."

The one I found that 'might' work is the Madcatz Blaster. No promises on that though. Its supposed to be HDTV compatible, doubt it works on rear projection TV's though.

How fucked up is this? I just played duck hunt on my HD TV and it WORKED!
