Give me something quality and original to check out. I haven't heard anything decent in a long time as so much new stuff is total gash and it would be refreshing to hear something clean.
Fire away.

Modest Mouse. Get the album "The Moon and Antartica". It kicks a load of ass.

song before album
Just give me a song first to save me wasting my time getting something to later find I don't like it.

Skip The Ramones, and check out some Richard Cheese. You're gonna have to look up what song's he has because he's done quite a few.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Give it Away
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Power of Equality
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Suck my Kiss
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Apache Rose Peacock
that's just a few of them, but all of their songs are amazing. Other albums songs i'd highly suggest would be Higher Ground, Aeroplane, and Californication. Those are just songs to get you into RHCP.

This guy knows what he's talking about.
Welcome To The Jungle and Down With The Sickness are my favorites.
His version of Welcome To The Jungle is by far my favorite lounge song of all time. I crack up everytime I hear it.
cLOUDDEAD!
Easily one of the most original groups of our time!
They don't have many (as many as I would like) songs, but what there is is great!
Songs include:
Pop Song
The Teen Keen Skip
The Velvet Ant
Son Of A Gun
Rifle Eyes
Dead Dogs Two
Physics of A Unicycle
That's almost their whole 'Ten' album.
But their whole 'Ten' album is SUPERB!
They're supposed to do a remix of a Boards Of Canada song, to repay the excellent 'Dead Dogs Two' remix they did.
Ween!
Once you get into Ween, there's no turning back.
...Not that you'd want to turn back.
And some songs from each album (except for three) are these:
(God Ween Satan: The Oneness)
Bumblebee
Bumblebee (Part 2)
Birthday Boy
Marble Tulip Juicy Tree
(Pure Guava)
Push Th' Little Daisies
Springtheme
I Saw Gener Cryin' In His Sleep
Don't Get 2 Close (2 My Fantasy)
(Chocolate And Cheese)
Freedom Of '76
Roses Are Free
Mister Would You Please Help My Pony
Joppa Road
(The Molusk)
The Molusk
I'll Be Your Johnny On The Spot
Mutilated Lips
The Golden Eel
(Quebec)
It's Gonna Be A long Night
Happy Colored Marbles
Hey There Fancypants
Alcan Road
I wish it could be simple.
Beck!
Of course!
Beck:
(Mellow Gold)
Loser
Pay No Mind
Soul Suckin' Jerk
Beercan
(Odelay)
Devils Haircut
The New Pollution
Where It's At
Minus
(Midnite Vultures)
Sexx Laws
Nicotine & Gravy
Broken Train
Beautiful Way
(Mutations)
Nobody's Fault But My Own
Lazy Flies
Tropicalia
Bottle Of Blues
(Sea Change)
Paper Tiger
Lonesome Tears
Lost Cause
Little One
(Guero)
E-Pro
Girl
Black Tambourine
Broken Drum
Hmm...
I'll go back and bold only my VERY select favorites...
...That should do.
