This one is way better IMO. You can completely hide it, or just let it show a number (the alexa ranking of the site you're visiting) at the bottom of the screen. I don't know why, but I really like knowing certain stats, such as a site's popularity.

That, and it helps out the community too. It's a win-win situation :bigpimp: .

I've been using the No Spyware version for a month or so now and so have some other admins/mods/staff and we've noticed a difference in our ranking just from our own traffic input.

The official Alexa bar sucks ass. That Search Status one for Firefox is 1337. No bullshit, it's just two little meters that are like an inch wide. It's Google Page Rank and Alexa. I just have the Alexa showing, and it's in the upper left hand corner for me. A perfect place imo, and when you want to see what the site is ranked, just go up and hover over it.

Well, when I had magical powers, I would view the Who's online with UA enabled all the time, and eveyrone had firefox except like 6 people, 4 of which were guests or something. And a few Opera's and Saffari's.

The youth oriented internet space has adopted FF while the older generations tend to keep tot what they know are don't like the idea of switching things around. Also the business sector primarliy uses IE simply because it comes standard with Windows.
