I've seen commercials and stuff for Nintendo wi-fi, but when can we expect to be playing our DS online?

Any info you can give will be hepful.

November, off the top of my head. I think thats when Mario Kart DS comes out. Not sure though.

there is a Mario kart ds tourney go there and sign up if you want

Mario Kart DS is slated for a 11/14 release so it can be assumed that to be the online launch date, barring any setbacks.

what about tony hawk? i think its scheduled for release in late october, unless it has changed. I am guessing that we still wont be able to go online till the service is actually there though.

^i think there is a buddy list, although i am not 100% sure. It may have just pertained to animal crossing.

You can use a buddy list or play worldwide against other gamers of similar skill level.

similar skill level... How exactly do you measure that, does it look at like your scores on single player?

BTW, has Nintendo like talked about or given any information on Mario kart, it's only one month away, I'd expect info by now...

similar skill level... How exactly do you measure that, does it look at like your scores on single player?
Each game will have its own method of determining skill and score or wins are likely methods.

Wins vs highly ranked players will probably weigh in as well so that you move up in skill class.
