Ghost Recon

[Future Starlocke]

If you're a fan of Rogue Spear, you should look into Ghost Recon. This is essentially the same tactical shooter you've come to expect, except that it's set in large outdoor areas rather than inside corridors.

The game is hella difficult, but it's so pretty and has a surprisingly new twist on the genre. It's hard as hell to spot a moving target, because everything from the bushes to the trees sway and move in the wind.

This game looks absoutely awesome. I'll be getting both this and Conflict: Desert Storm the day they come out. All the Tom Clancy games kick ass and I've seen stuff that said that Ghost Recon will be 16 player online for the Gamecube.

Yeah, I've played this game. The visuals are not great for many areas, and the framerate is atrocious. But the strategy element is there, and it's not a bad game.

Framerate atrocious? I'm playing sucker at 30fps in complex scenery full details (as show above) with enemies on screen...


And no, no 16 player online gamecube... it's coming out on Gamecube like... today...

I have the demo, don't really care for it. I like shooters more like Halo, DOOM, Wolfenstein, etc.

I really can't stand Tom Clancy games...
I find them extremely boring...
I downloaded the Splinter Cell demo... i was just walking around through curtains all the time... picking up bodies and piling them up with the alarms blaring the entire time...

Splinter Cell is awesome dude...it's really hard, but it's reallly fun.

Ghost Recon is pretty cool, it needs some touch ups though, like faster strafing.
