Our opinions are different and i have to say that I disagree on several games...

Yeah, I did not like double dash. I even had a friend to play with... I enjoyed the 64 version much more.

I feel the same way. I'm glad to see that the DS one will at least have the real power slides.

I feel the same way about Wind Waker, though. It was alright, but waaay to easy.

I gave them :-$s! I don't like the strategy games...just like I don't like sports.

Everyone hates my Mario kart rating. Here's why I found it disappointing.

-I don't like the two per kart thing, and the themed karts. I liked the Go karts.
-The multiplayer battle mode levels sucked ass. Nothing can beat Mario 64's Block Fort, that donut one, etc.
-The 'clone' characters had the same special moves.
-I havent played it, but the LAN mode is ghey cause you can't pick your characters.
-Half the 'karts' sucked, and were just other colored version of the same kart.

Mario kart 64 was the best in the series, and Double Dash felt like "Lets just get this game over with" rather than "Lets kick some ass" like the 64 version.

I AM looking froward to the DS version. I think ti will fix everything that's wrong with DD, and combine all the best qualities of all the Mario kart games into one super l33t pwn omfg.

I agree that the battle levels suck and can't compare to any of the the N64 ones (though I prefer Tilt-a-Kart over Giant Donut).
Even counting the clones, there are still more characters than N64.
Yeah, half the karts do suck, but in the N64 version they ALL were different colored versions of the same thing.
