Suspect in Xbox beating deaths pleads guilty

Robert Anthony Cannon, 19, of Deltona, agreed to testify against the other defendants to avoid the death penalty and now faces life in prison without parole.

Investigators say Victorino organized the attack to retrieve an Xbox video game system he lost when he was kicked out of another house where he was squatting.

The four allegedly barged into the Deltona home with baseball bats and bludgeoned the victims, ages 17 to 34, and a small dog.

Wow... and they say Nintendo fanboys are vicious...

That is old old news. I saw that months ago. That guy needs the death penalty for being so fucking stupid and for murdering those people.

this is new...he pleaded guilty...so that he won't get the death penalty...

All this for an Xbox...it's just not worth it...

(waits for Xbox fanboy to fall into trap)

No, he doesn't need the death penalty. He'll sit in prison for the rest of his life regretting what he's done every second of every day.

So it didn't occur to our friend that he could just knock on the door and politely ask for his xbox, because apparently it is his xbox?

Investigators say...
They say, therefore:
It may not have been a reason.
It may not have been the only reason.
And why the hell would people need to resort to murder to just retrieve an xbox?

I agree with gollum. Death>life on prison.

If he's Christian God might even forgive him, but either way he'll regret what he's done for the rest of forever.

Anyhow, think about it. 60 years of misery, guilt, and boredom OR no need to worry about your problems. No misery or guilt or boredom. (Whatever else happens after you die)

Death seems to be the best decision, I would say I was guilty, and then ask for the death penalty. That's jsut me though.

EDIT: Honestly, they should get rid of the death penalty, and I believe that sentencing some one to a lifetime in prison is inhumanly cruel. They should max it out at twenty, and give them a chance to get something out of their life, rather than make them suffer for decades.
