Well damn, this game really shaped up. That footage is excellent, it looks like a blast to play. The particle effects are what really caught me off guard, I had no idea the DS was that powerful.

Thank God this is an online title now.

I really like how much the graphics have shaped upa nd multiplayer looks ungodly sweet. I really like that they upped the rate of fire on the samus's cannon and the game look like all that home sweetness of metroid prime in a portable package. Say goddbye to 3 months of my life playing multiplayer.

note was that the final build because if it wasnt the game is just going to keep getting better im glad they pushed it back for this.

I've played the updated demo, and let me tell you Viper, First Hunt was a hot, steamy pile of regurgitated gumbo. I was honestly and truly disappointed with Metroid Prime Hunters based on playing First Hunt, but I didn't realize it because I was too caught up in the fact that it was a 3D, handheld Metroid title, with multiplayer.

Looks gorgeous. Really captures the Metroid feel.
And the multiplayer? Simply amazing.

I still want to know how long the single player campaign will be, but otherwise this game looks fantastic.

The single player? I played the demo of it, and let me tell you, it is most definitely a Metroid game. none of the single-player crap from First Hunt, this was really truly a Metroid game.

Looks great, looks like a low res gc video. The video is a bit dark, i wonder if its like that to hide pixilation? Other than that this game is a must buy.

That video was sweet, can't wait for the game, and Victor certain parts of first hunt had no pixilation, it wasn't bump mapping or anything like that, but it was very clean and generally higher res then most ds games.

It looks like they equipped Samus with an automatic weapon. This is good, hitting the shoulder button repeatedly made my finger hurt.

when you press down on the shoulder button and hold it, about 5 shots fire out non-stop, then the fire rate slows down for the next few shots, and so on. the longer you hold it, the slower the rate of fire becomes. but as soon as you let go and fire again, it's fast.

also, there's no ammo for the basic weapon, at least.

Simply amazing. God I can't fucking wait for this. I was anticipating it before for the the FPS of the game, now I'm anticipating it for the Metroid part of it too. Holy shit, this looks like a full blown Metroid Prime title.....The game looks HUGE. And with online, it's going to be even bigger. I just wish they showed off more character abilities in that, because all the characters look incredibly varied too.

This is without a doubt now my most anticipated title.
