TO Suspended Indefinitely

PHILADELPHIA - Terrell Owens can host an open house, exercise on his front lawn or practice a new touchdown celebration Sunday. He won't be playing for the Philadelphia Eagles. Owens was suspended indefinitely by the Eagles on Saturday, two days after he criticized the organization for not publicly recognizing his 100th career touchdown catch two weeks ago.

I am surprised no one has posted this yet....

Personally, I think he is a great WR, but the atitude makes him worthless. Good job Andy Reid for sending him to the bench. Despite the loss, I would say, he was not needed. Having his drama really takes the respect away from the rest of the team.

I would say he may have even played his last game as an Eagle, and I doubt a lot of teams would want the attitude on their staff.

I'm glad Andy Reid suspended him he needed to do it. TO maybe one of the best if not the best WR in the league but his attitude is terrible.

I would love to never see T.O. play in the NFL again because as talented as he is, he just isn't worth the trouble. After all the stuff that happened in the preseason when he said he needs to "provide for his family" when he has the opportunity to make $49 million on a 7 year deal that HE signed is just absolutely ridiculous.

If anyone read the ESPN.com interview transcript, he revisted the contract stuff and he still makes himself look like an idiot by talking about how he's not "guaranteed" the money. Oh, well, $49 million or not, he's making a shitload of cash and he can provide for his family and many more families.

He's just detrimental to the Eagles franchise and he is embarassing them every day he steps on the field. I'm glad Andy Reid finally realized that HE is more powerful than T.O. and he suspended him. T.O. is a fucking moron, and nothing he says or does from here on out will prove otherwise. Any franchise that picks him up after this year is one that is seriously in trouble... I'm sure the Eagles are going to trade him.

My favorite receiver is Chad Johnson, who in some ways is like T.O. (touchdown celebrations, etc), but I don't think he will ever compare to T.O. in how amazingly individualistic and self-centered he is. I said T.O. is an embarrasment to the Eagles, but I should have said he's an embarassment to the entire NFL. Find a reason to kick this whining son of a bitch out of the league.
