I've had this GBA since 2 months after release of the GBA (its white). The screen has no major scratches, nothing that hinders gameplay, but does have the rubbing scratches on it (noticeable if light is placed at a certain angle). The battery back is on there but loose, it will stay but I would advise using some scotch tape on there. The system is in working condition but I don't play it anymore.
