lil, I think learning system 7 will help you zilch. I however really liked At Ease....'

But you can try looking at e-Bay for a System 7 floppy, or just buy a new Mac with System 7. (<$12)

My friend has a PowerBook 165 and 165c. The c stands for color and they have trackballs instead of track pads. We would always use the 165 to play Risk in German class. Good times.

If you got some PowerMacs I can risk giving you System 7.5.3 for them. No way in hell you're getting the universal 8.6 install. It is like gold to me.

My macs are the 540 PowerBook, Workgroup Server 6150/66, and another I can't find its hidden in the garage.

It is funny but all the macs I have are circa 1995.

The Powerbook the screen is busted so I took it off. It came with the video out cable so I can use the apple monitor I got with the 6150. By the way would the software be different for the Workgroup server 6150 compared to the standard Macs?

Thanks for the software link. However, I need to find actual disks cause non of these macs are Internet ready or can even install anything.

The OS for the server is no different than a normal system running Classic. You can download System 7 off of that Apple link. If you really wanted to the WorkGroup server can run OS 8.6 and surf the internet.

Check here under Apple Collectors. I got a lot of help for my PowerMac 8500/150. They might be able to tell you how to make boot floppies for the PowerBook using the files Apple offers.

ok thanks Eidorian. I have a nice program called macdisk that lets me make mac disks on my PC so I can transfer data over.

Well the last place I thought would help helped. Wikipedia had a link to the software of System 7.5.3. I think it is the same link as above though.

Anyhow the half lappy has a system now But damn I had to use 19 floppies. No software to speak off though HEHE. I'll see if I can find some old games like Snake and Brickles. HEH

Oh and thanks for the help guys.

Oh and thanks for the help guys.A SCSI CD-ROM might have helped here. I forget how many floppies Windows 95 was. I know Windows 3.1 was on 3-4 disks.
