This is not a joke people, Eddie was found dead in his hotel room this morning. This is unfuckingbelievable. I almost cried when I read it.

I almost cried as well. I then did cry when I watched this (http://www.exclusivesteveknight.com/goodbye.html).
I guess it would make sense to have Chavo Guerrero in the main event and not Kerwin White at tonight's tribute shows. As well as looking forward to seeing a tribute, these tribute shows always give us great wrestling matches as well. I am looking forward to RAW and SmackDown this week.
Rest in peace, Eddie. You'll never be forgotten.
You were right, that video made me tear up. Wrestling as a whole just lost an immense human being. The biggest 5'8'' man ever.
EDIT: Eddie was going to win the triple threat match for the title tonight. He was going to have his first reign as World Heavyweight Champion.

I... don't know what to think.
As an aspiring wrestler (to some extent) he ... being so short...was inspiration...
I really, really am sad. Sober for 4 YEARS... a reborn Christian... inspiration, he was.
I really, really mourn for him. I find myself speechless....
And...btw... he wasn't going to win the title, that was NEVER confirmed...him or Randy Orton were justl ikely to win.. trust me..i know this stuff well.
Batista was going to drop the title so he could rehab his back injury, and Eddie was going to win the belt since Orton is in his feud with the Undertaker.
However, that isn't the topic of this thread.

Was it because of that chair shot on SD or something else?
Damn, I feel so bad. That is totally fucked up.

Nobody knows how he died just yet, I've heard that it could be 'heart failure'.
Hopefully we'll find out more very soon.

Yeah man, he had a family and had beaten alcohol and drugs addiction four years ago. Get 'Cheating Death Stealing Life: The Eddie Guerrero Story' on DVD and you'll see just how great of a man he is.

I'll say it one more time... him winning the title was SPECULATION because of things such as the Orton feud..and nothing was confirmed.
--------------------
Anywho, I almost did cry after watching the very end of that video. Can you imagine the feeling running through him? If i'm correct, that was his first World Title win at Wrestlemania, and as a main event? Blood, Sweat, and tears...
God....
Mikey "Crash Holly" dying was sad.. for I have a tremendous amount of respect for him
along with those others, Miss Elizabeth, Yokozuna, etc etc.
But...Owen Hart and Eddie Guerrero hit me today...like none other....

This is really getting strange that all these people involved with Wrestling has died fairly recently with somewhat shocking results.
Mr. Perfect, Elizabeth, Eddie Gurrerro, Owen hart, Rick Rude, Davey Boy Smith, and others. Either the business is very rough, which it is, or there is a big curse on it.
Sad Sad Sad day. This hit me harder than many other superstars. I teared up and cried. I also think it hit harder cause I watched Smackdown lastnight which I taped from Friday.
A severe blow to the head, a weak heart, heart attack, might be the cause.

Dammit. I still can't believe it.
I heard the news today while I was in line to get an autograph from Jim Duggan. Someone was talking about it. I didn't want to believe it and I still don't want to believe it.
There goes one of the greatest wrestlers alive. Rest in peace Eddie.

to whom said it -
And i believe al ot of those major deaths...you've got to believe that some of them were drug related. Davey Smith, Rick Rude, weren't wrestling full schedules n e more, either tho. It's fair to say that Owen Hart and Eddie were in their primes of their careers...so it seems to take a greater impact. But you make an extreme point...is it THAT strenuous these days wrestling...does it really take that toll on you? Or are they victims of something else...you know?

What a huge blow to the Wrestling world. I think one of the things that hits so hard when Pro wrestlers pass away is the fact that we've grown up watching them as kids and they've become larger-than-life heroes of our day. They are the real life giants, not always physically but inspirationally, that lay heart and body on the line and inspire us to live our lives to the fullest and strive to be the best that we can be.
My four year old son is going to ask me on Friday where Eddie Guerrero went. I'm going to tell him that Eddie Guerrero was a born again Christian and went to be with the Almighty. Behind, he left a huge space in the squared-circle that can never be filled. But I will always remember Eddie Guerrero and his brilliant performances.

I think it was best described to me .... as... even for those of us "smart marks".... wrestling is still something that can captivate you and hold your attention for just those two hours...
You know it's not real, and you know the guys are just acting... yet...for that hour or two that you're watching, you feel it. You feel hate, and love, and emotion, just because you WANT to.
Eddie did that. It's hard to list as many people that did that like him. How many people can make you laugh like he did? Hell, even one of the dorkier ones with him and Batista... when he was talking about crying ... i think after Batista won a title? (correct me if i'm wrong) and Batista corrected him.... "Okay...So I lied!" and... you know that look he gives? LOL. I'm..going to miss it...
The second of latino heritage in WWE history to ever win a WWE Title.
A lot.

Man, that really does suck. WWE has really had its ups and downs in the last few months, this is really going to hurt. I feel for Eddie and his family, wish them the best of luck.

He was one of the greatest fighters and actors ever to hit wrestling, but now he's gone. I always liked him as a fighter, but recently, I had been reading about him as a person, and he also shines through there. I was sad when I heard, and I never met him, or even saw him perform live. I can't even imagine what his kids and wife must feel like, losing their dad atsuch a young age. His family and friends are in my thoughts. A great WWE and Tag Team Champ, and a great person. RIP "Latino Heat" Eddie Guerrero

A sign that I thought was funny that was on the news earlier was something like Eddie lied, cheated, and stole our hearts.

Aye, such a great RAW. I watched the first 3 minutes or so last night, and I started crying for the first time since 1999, when my grandmother died. Here's to another good show in SmackDown on Friday.
Once again, RIP Eddie. You will be missed.

R.I.P Eddie! I remember him when he had the sorta long black hair. Good ole days!
You guys know, though, Shawn Michaels got it right. He will miss Eddie just like everyone else, but Eddie really is wrestling on the grandest stage of them all now.

True that man. I wander what Smackdown will be like without him though. It kind of makes you want to get rid of the roster split now because Smackdown will be hurt without the presence of one of their biggest stars.

I just got done watching Smackdown.
I loved the last match, and the moment at the end just about brought a tear to my eye. You know Eddie was looking down, watching that match and just enjoying the hell out of it.
I also loved how Chavo did the Three Amigos and the Frog Splash. That was just awesome.
