Book errors

i was just wondering....i could swear that when i was little i heard that if there was an error (misspelled word, punctuation, etc) in a book (such as a school book) that you could get a lot of money for it. i dunno if it's true, but i was wondering if any of you guys ever heard of that. i found a mistake in my history book and my friend found one in his english book, so let me know..

I've actually heard about that but I believe it was a specific book with a specific mistake.......been a long time, probably been a rumor since way back started by a teacher to get students to actually read their books.

but i want money! maybe i should sue...i mean, u can sue for anything. i can say the misplaced period made me fail my test which in turn caused me to not get into a better college, causing me to spend my life flipping burgers and die a slow death caused by heart disease, all alone in my rat-infested house with 5 kids and a cheating wife, only to have punk kids (also victims of the book error) piss on my grave and the gravekeeper dig up and rape my cold corpse. i could get an easy million at least... :D

the error i'm talkin about was pretty obvious...at the end of this paragraph....there was no period. i was like....cool, wonder if i can get money! :)
