its not biased at all. and yes, the only reason i skimmed through it was to see what they say about nintendo.
Nintendo, the distant third runner in the race, is expected to fall even further behind with its Revolution, likely the last new console on the market next year. Critics say the company has missed the target market of the older, hardcore gamer who plays the bloody first-person shooter games, dominant on the PS2 and the Xbox. Nintendo President Satoru Iwata debuted a TV-remote-inspired wireless controller at the Tokyo Game Conference in September, which could cause more confusion with developers instead of boost the company’s market share. “Nintendo’s Revolution will be its last console,” says UBS Investment Research analyst Michael Wallace. “It’s a two-horse race now.”
first off. it wasnt a distant third from xbox. in fact it was really close. 2nd, it will definitly not be the last console, unless the revolution falls flat on its face, which is extrememly unlikely from people who have used it and the developer support. And I am sorry, but "real" hardcore gamers play anything that is good, not just for blood and violence. Those are "casual" gamers. I think one of the main supporters of nintendo is the hardcore gamers. and even if what he says about hard-core gamers is true, that means they would flock to the revolution for the fps action it will be receiving.
if the rest of their article is like this, its not worth reading.

Haha, horrible article.
Read this contradiction.
"PS2 with almost 70 percent of the market, according to DFC Intelligence. Nintendo’s GameCube is third with 15 percent."
That means the Xbox had 15% market share...equal to GC. Then he writes.
"Nintendo, the distant third runner in the race"
His dream of being a mathematician squandered he became a journalist instead. He must have missed the chapter on research.
Followed by this....
"Microsoft could begin earning back the estimated $4-billion investment in its game consoles, and even start making money with the 360."
Not going to happen this gen. A quick calculation or two will clarify that. Oops, forgot, he failed math.
"Nintendo is expected to fall even further behind with its Revolution"
Accordign to who exactly? No source or reason given for that BS bit of speculation. It's journalism like this that created a false implied image that has hurt Nintendo for years now.
Interesting how he quotes the one analysts that is predicting the demise of Nintendo when many others are predicting them to increase market share.
And now he notates the dimensions and weight as a reason the Xbox failed in Japan yet doesn't realize the X360 is practically the exact same size. In fact, it's even longer than the Xbox.
I'm not even reading any further. This sickens me that this site gains the traffic it does, has kind of impact it does on all those readers and spews sugar coated fanboy sounding lines mixed with unfounded speculation and inaccuracies.

i really want to send an email to them. people like this make me mad because they use little logic in their reasoning, and like you said viper, they get undeserved attention for it.
