Is there an online service like Xbox Live or do you have to pay monthly per game?

As of right now wait untill Jan. 5-8. During that time CES 06 (Consumer Electronics Show) will be taking place. You can expect to hear news about any 2 of your questions then. If not then, then wait untill Feb. Sony is planning a "Secret" show where you can expect ALL the beans to be spilled. Untill then you can't really do much but wait.

Note: I don't think a specific date has been released for that February show (I could be wrong). But expect BIG PS3 news in February.

I agree CES will be the forum for Sony to release online strategy details & a potential launch date for the console. I doubt pricing will be released until the last possible moment...
