It's topic next generation journalism and a couple of articles that TeamXbox did to compare the 360 to the PS3 in a good light. It's a very technical article and I think most people on the forum would find it to be a good read.

I'm reading the artical now and will comment later. But that first one you posted was terrible lol. But its good to see some brains in that community.

- The memory system bandwidth in Xbox 360 exceeds the PS3’s by five times." The charts were even worse. I'm sorry I just had a good laugh with that one. Thats extreme fanboyism.

I would like to thank XBDestroya for helping with this article. He helped me clarify between the difference between Cache and Local Storage and other numbers on the XeCPU and Cell. Without him this article would've been much worse or much later or perhaps a little of both.

The next few articles I'm working on will be more productive and less philosophical. This one is for the record and for people who don't know the whole story.

I'd like to footnote my participation by saying I personally don't have anything against TeamXBox and am actually a member there on the forums, but it's true that those 'tech' articles they released were completely whack. Those sort of straw-man comparisons really piss me off.

According to TeamXbox, PS3 GPU Less Powerful than GeForce 7800
and yet, they made a diagram that shows Xbox360 GPU is just a alittle bit above RSX.

so according to them Gefore 7800 is as powerful if not more powerful then both RSX and Xbox360 GPU LOL

It's so disgusting when one has to put up with such nonsense. But I think the worst part about it is because the first Xbox was such an unattractive console due to its massive size, leading people to assume the same for the 360 in comparison to the next PlayStation console, a fanbot come along and tries to justify the 360's size with false information. :barf:

graphs , charts, hyperbole, it will all evaporate - the PS2 outsold the box massively, that inbuilt fanbase for the PS2 ( all 100 million of them) is a great indication of the future of the PS3. MS can afford to put out a mediocre console - they have other enterprises. Sony showed balls in their original PSX design - moving to CD's - they also made gaming an 'adult' hobby. Sony in my eyes are dynamic, innovative and put out quality products, i always think of there electronic items as the BMW's of consumer goods....

MS well, i wont go there....:), i repect there success, but the XBOX in my eyes was like ' oh lets chuck a few billion into a PS2 rival - see how it goes- maybe we'll make some proit, in other words, not a labour of love.

Kutaragi has been with Sony since 1990 ! for christs sake, Playstation is HIS creation, Passion+Skill = great f*****g console .....

!!! I just found out where that data came from. Somebody posted this in the IGN message board about the Cells FLOPS performance being less than Sony says. Talk about misinformed. This data is very useful for x-box fanboys. As a matter of fact i'm goin to quote your artical to inform them lol.
