Who here likes The Wheel of Time???

Have you read the new book? Any thoughts or reviews of the book with out giving to much away? I HAVE NOT READ IT SO NO SPOILES PLEASE. But really, how did it measure up to you as the second to last book? Like the plot lines, character development, and events? Does Jordan suck now? Is he kicking ass? Opinions, please.

I am working my way through all the other books to refresh me before I delve into book 11.

I dearly hope you are wrong. I was told that about the last couple of books, number 9 and 10. But I did not think so myself, but I will see when I read it. If Jordan fucks up the end to this great series I will off his ass.

The reviews over a wotmania.com lead me to believe that if I liked the others, I'll like this one.

I'm going to reread the whole series again, though. It's been so long, and it's a great series.

I found 8, 9 and 10 boring. The eleventh, however, I found as a pleasant return to the exciting world of the first few books, right up until that one chapter where that one thing happens. After that point the book just doesn't seem worth reading anymore, even though the rest of it is actually quite good.

Go read it, anyway.
