I'm not sure how many people saw this but I really think it should have it's own thread being that it's the most "in-game" footage we have out there. I wanted to know what some of you thought about how far it may be along at the time this trailer was made and just your over all impressions with how the game looks and what could make it greatt. I never played the first Warhawk so I don't know what to expect, I'm looking to hear some insight from users around the boards.

I must say that I'm VERY impressed with how the water looks and how smoothly the plane was flying around. The graphics look also very crisp but you can tell that the game is still not complete.

Dont take this personally, i know alot you guys like WarHawk, but i cant get pass the character design..they look awful(like Toy Soldiers), i would be more incline to buy this game if the improve that part.

downloadin the video again to re-watch it. I gotta the water is the best looking next gen water effect i seen so far. I never played the first warhawk either. But all the green stuff is reminding me of Halo..argh.

Handy, the trailer you linked was different from the E3 trailer I watched a few months ago. The water effects and overall visuals were impressive, I was not extremely impressed with the E3 trailer, I thought the Heavenly Sword, Killzone, Motostorm & MGS4 trailer were more impressive. After seeing this different trailer that looks like realtime play I will keep my eye on this title.

I just hope the ground battles are not 1st person perspective, I'm starting to grow tired of FPS shooters... This title is not on my must buy list, but I will keep my eye on this one... Peace

The Getaway future vision - all new teaser trailer

Man I nearly forgot how much I enjoyed the first Warhawk (damn its been awhile). The game is definetely heading in the right direction and I love the amount of enemies on screen a once. The environments could use a little work, but Im sure that isnt going to be an issue with the game not being complete. The water looks really well done, not quite as impressive to me as other effects we have seen in game but beautiful none the less.


For the love of god give me a cockpit view though.:laugh:

They haven't even confirmed that this game is in-game. On the other hand games like MGS4, Heavenly Sword, and Motorstorm have been confirmed real-time or "in-game" footages. It's going to look even better for the first two and maybe the same will apply for Motorstorm. This game would probably end up looking much better in the end.

WarHawk and Lair for Launch?
PSM interview indicates that the PS3 launch could feature two aerial wonders.

That trailer really shows the advantage of having a large screen. I mean you brain interprets it big i think cause u see that head blocking the way and subconciously calculate how big the screen is in comparison. Which makes the feeling real cool even wathching the trailer on a 14 inch screen. Feelt really awesom. Oh yeah the water effects were amazing.

The original had a nice cockpit view so Im expecting the same here. :)

Really looking forward to this, should be a very solid launch title. I dont think Incognito is really the type of team to blow you away with cutting edge rendering, so Im not exactly expecting a next-gen eye-gasm with Warhawk (although that is definitely the best looking water Ive seen in real time). But what they always excel at is extremely polished, razor sharp and silky smooth production on every level. It'll look great and be a blast to play.

i remember a game a while ago with the warhawk name on playstation. im not sure if its the first one or not. but what i remember is the game was about a man that was after red mercury for human enhancments. does anyone know if that game was the original or not, because i know that game was really kick ass. and when you got blown up, the cockpit monitor kicks on and a woman says that the new ship was made from scraps of other ships (genius) and that when you get down to the last ship, she says that the ejections seats are disabled and you will die. Does anyone remember playing it by any chance? also, the game had an increadable draw distance and many many many enemy ships on screen at once, and you got to attack cities and massive aircraft carriers. here are some pics

i mean the gameplay, does it have airifight as well on the ground? So in the game you could choose as pilots or as regular soldier?
