View Full Version : Why ABC's "Lost" is the greatest show in TV history and another thing of interest.

To list all the things that make Lost so amazing and fantastic would take all day so I will not even try but instead list some things that it tickles my fancy with.

It contains a hatch of mystery that has recently become a little less mysterious but is still very exciting
It features an island (mysterious) that houses a entity of mysteriousness that may or may not have anything to do with the government
The cast consists of a fat hispanic, two Koreans, an insane French woman, a (now deceased) dynamite expert/school teacher/weatherman, and Evangeline Lilly

Also of interest in this thread is the fact that I fancy myself an artist at times, and I calling on all of you fellow lads to ask me to draw anything your imagination desires. Just ask and I will try.

I like lost. Draw a skull faced demon consuming the souls of the damned.

I loved the series. It was all dark and that Papa Lauzaro popped up in the christmas special and scared me shitless.

For the type of format(ala television) it works out great playng on the mystery and such, not like a movie where its going to be solved in half an hour regardless of how many twists.

But even with all that it does get a little dry sometimes, then its like watching The Blue Lagoon or Cast Away. Not a whole lot happening yet just the usual trapped on an island stuff. Which for some reason I kind of like...when im bored, but not on a primetime show.

Michelle Rodriguez? She is hell to watch acting. Or trying to do it. Or whatever.

new episode tonight! i am excited. Also i have a few question for the viewers we have on here.

!!!May contain spoilers if you havent seen all the episodes!!!

What does everyone think of Walt and how he is like psychic? I mean when he is reading the bird book and the bird flys into the window, or the polar bear that trys to attack him, and right before he leaves he shakes Locke's hand and tells Locke not to open it, and tells Michael he burned the first raft but now they do need to leave.

What is the monster? Is it their fears or what? I mean it rips apart trees and has foot steps but apparently it is only black smoke?

Is Walt really talking to Michael or is it a trick by the others, or is it the smoke monster?

Why do the Others take the children? and why didnt they take Aaron (Claires baby) ? Or did they try and when they didnt succed and lost Ethan they gave up?

In one episode Danielle Rousso the french lady said the monster was a security system, was it protecting the hatch or something else entirely?

Who knows the answer to any of those questions. Not me.

There is something special about the boy.

The "monster" is an unknown entity.

Michael presumes he is talking to his boy.

The Others have a list. They take the good and leave the bad. What that means I have no idea.

The monster protects the island.

I am in grave danger of missing this weeks episode.

Wait, a deceased Dynamite Expert?

Ok, haven't seen it in a while, who was the dynamite expert?

Esotsm

It was back in towards the end of season 1. Name was Arzt, some 9th grade chemistry teacher/dynamite expert. He blew him self up while lecturing the importance of being gentle while handling old, humid dynamite.
