Then I grew up some more without them.

The other day I bought Queen's Greatest Hits.

Every song on this album is a fucking classic.

Not only that, but the lyrics, subjects and attitudes are so unique compared to other bands.

Truly one of the greatest bands ever, if not the best.

Hell, I'll even say better then U2, and they are my all time favourite band.

The lyrics aren't that deep, but the music is so unique.

The way he approached lyrics is like what rappers do, but in rock. he talks himself up, but instead of just saying something along the lines of "No other rapper can drop lines like this," just like every single rapper says, he does it cleverly.

Yeah. Money really has nothing to do with it. There are a lot of bands better then U2. They don't make anywhere near that amount and probably never will, but talent wise are better. In my opinon though they're overated and not that great as well.

Okay, I'll just clarify a few things about Queen.

1. Freddy wasn't gay, he were bi. Meaning he liked both the flowers AND the bees.

2. The new vocalist is called Paul Rodgers. He's been in: "bad company", "free" and "the firm". I've been to one of there new concert in Munich, and(no flaming) he's better than Freddy.

3. They're now in the US, where theyre doing(i think)27 concerts.

5. Freddy actually got AIDS from a woman he went to bed with.

If you like Queen, try it out. It's even got a memorial to Freddy, in form of a special version of "Bohemian Rhapsody"

I dont really like Paul Rodgers, fair enough he's good, but it just doesnt feel right without freddy. Freddy was a character. Its the way i feel, Queen should have really stopped when Freddy had gone.

Queen kicks ass. They are on tour this March, plan to go see them. I Don't care if Freddy is gone, I heard that Rodgers has been excellent

Queen is one of my favorite bands ever.
They stand out so much among other bands,
And experimented with a lot of different(at the time) things in their music.
Props to Queen, and gay or not(don't really see why that matters), Freddy Mercury was one HELL of a singer.
