better looking emoticons

I was wondering if we could update the emoticons with newer, better looking ones like these:

Those look good, but are a little large. It will put a lot of space between lines of text.

Those things are ugly, in my opinion. An emoticon is supposed to be a simple way to show how you're feeling without typing it explicitly. No sense in throwing giant smileys in all the posts.
