I'm in High School an I have a painting class for the year. I like going to it and I always thought the teacher didn't like me, but now I know for sure. After I finish my art, I usaaly give it away for some reason the kids in my class like what I do. So I gave it to this girl that I like. The teacher saw the girl walking around the hallways with it. She stops the girl and says" What's wrong with you? Why do you have that?"
The gril says " Why what's wrong with it? I like his work."
Teacher "You shouldn't promote that or encourage that."
girl "I think what he does is good and he should do more of it."
After that the girl came up to me and told me. I always knew the bitch didn't like me.
Anyone else have any stories of art teachers

You got any pics of your work?
I was close to my art teachers, since I would always talk and debate about different styles, ideas, the benefits of digital art, why I hate painting...etc
I also had the verbatim art teachers, who more or less sucked...I don't know which teacher you have but many times art teachers will add their own way of how they think things should be done. You could always talk to him/her.

Tell your teacher her art sucks big hairy/veiny balls, and like, look away whenever it's being displayed.

I've never seen her art work or her paint anything. I probably should either keep my work or at least take pictures of it. To show I've actually done something.

Both of my friend's parents are art teachers, which definetly explains why her paintings are amazing. My girlfriend's cousin is an art teacher too.

My art teacher was a dick though all my drawing were traced. Oh well now I work as a Graphic Designer and make double what he made an hour... I guess I win. I'll post some of my pics someday.

I started asking people that have my art work if they could take pictures of them. So eventually, I'll be able to show them.

my 3d animation teacher was the exact opposite. He gave my group too much attention. He enlargened one of my rendered models, framed it, and hung it up in class. When we had open-house, he focused on the group project my team did. He put the waving american flag i made on the school website. Since it was his first year teaching the class, I figured out a lot of stuff on my own. I remember when i first figured out how to use bones, i had to demonstrate to the class how. Same for splines and patching, as well as some rendering techniques. I liked some of the attention, but I always feel embaressed... i guess because i feel like i am the "teacher's pet" per say.

Awesome. On a side note... Version Que is being a total bitch. The Preference Pane for it is all grayed out. Do you know how to make it at least work?
