Soz for being NOOBish,as im sure that previously this topic has been heavily debated.Im just wondering what evryone thinks of snaking.I personally see it as a skill, that once aquired should be utilised like any other. What really bugs me is when my record against some one is 79 7,and when asked "Who is better, you or Calum?" they reply,"i am,he snakes".Im wondering whether this kind of opinion is commonly encountered, and to me,appears nothing more than a jealous dig at me,and my fellow snakers. When i asked the said person if he could snake his reply was "of course, its easy, though i see using it as cheating"...easy huh?hrrrm.
This is obscenely unfair,i find snaking makes the game more enjoyable, particularly so now a large chunk of the mario kart population snakes, meaning that where i not to snake, the game wouldnt be nearly as competitive. It appears to me that snaking is classified outside the boundaries of gaming skill, classifying me as a cheat, who cant actually play mario kart well but can snake. This is oviously totally untrue, and would suggest that snaking is a stand alone "winning tool",with no other driving skill needed, when as any half decent snaker will say,the reverse is true.
Im truly sorry if this topic is old and dull, but i am new so as yet don't know any one elses opinions.
Thanx for your time,
~Calum
