Any of you have any console/game disaster stories?

when i was a kid i dropped my battletoads cartridge into the toilet when i was switching carts into my GameBoy (the white/gray brick) while i was pissing lol.

no disasters here. When I was little I would thow my games out of my window or at walls or at local wild life. When I had my xbox I usd to aim for that :p

Um...I play catch with my GB Color. And I always throw my cartridges.

I smashed by copy of the SNES game Zombies Ate My Neighbors after I forgot to copy down a password they gave me. That was probably the maddest moment in my childhood.

Erm...One time I had my G-cube in my backpack and I tried to do a trick on a skateboard and I fell and almost landed on it, but I didn't.

i smashed my nes controller during an intense game of megaman. i'm sure that was probably one of the maddest moments in my childhood too.

i would usually just cry if i couldnt beat something. The only thing i really broke was my gameshark for 64. i regret buying that b/c i was like 10 or 11 at the time and i had no idea how to use it correctly.

When i was about 6 my dog chewed through the electrical and controller cords. this rendered my nes broke. then i got a genesis to replace it.

I've dropped my N64 down my stairs... had my memory cards go through a wash... broke a control stick on my N64 controller....


But... my N64 works perfectly... no memory was lost on the cards... and i superglued my control stick back on... *just can't play mario party on that one*

let's see, had cat (or dog) chew partially thru NES controller cords, but they still worked. um...had 2 off-brand 64 controllers that broke. my first cube controller doesn't work half the time cuz it'll act like it's tilted to one side. my sister bought a cheap off-brand cube controller thats a piece of shit. on that one, the control stick broke, so we took it apart, removed it and replaced it with the c-stick, so we can only use that one with games that don't require the c-stick, lol.
oh, and a recent story... the rubber part on my fan controller came off and i had to super-glue it back on. well, i squeezed a little too much on and it oozed over my controller onto the W or M button (whichever one is the opposite of the Z button on the left side) and now it won't budge, but it's ok cuz i don't use it.

I've got two unfortunate stories, the first one was when I had an old Playstation and what happened with that was that I was about to but a new game into the console, something like a wasp or a bee stung me. I was pretty much shocked out of my skin with the suddeness and fell forward and slammed my knee onto my Playstation and knackered up the entire spin mechanism for the CDs.

The second incident was when I was looking round for my copy of Crash Team Racing and I was getting annoyed that I couldn't find it, so I slammed my bedroom door in anger, only to hear the delightful snapping sound of a CD. I looked and saw that the CD was somehow wedged under the door and one half of it was under the carpet and when it closed, the part of the CD which was raised was trapped in the door and severed into two. x_x
