It doesn't matter if the 10% of PS3 are broken on launch day.

It doesn't matter if the Blu-Ray player's horrible.

It doesn't matter if The Cell doesn't work right.

It doesn't matter if developers need more space.

It doesn't matter what shape their controller is.

It doesn't matter how big the console will be.

It doesn't matter if every launch game looks like a Ps2 game (a bad looking one).

It doesn't matter if every launch game plays horribly.

It doesn't matter if they have a unified online service.

Playstation 3 will sell, oh, will it sell... nothing matters...

They don't need E3.

They don't need ANYTHING.

They have the only thing they need and that's the name, "Playstation".

Helgunn, And why is it such a bad thing that Sony has provided us with such high quality products before that we just now trust them?

Kinda like the "MGS, GTA, Halo & Zelda ppl" Who just pre order the game without ever looking at a review, we all figure, "hey they delivered the goods (at least) twice now, I trust they'll do good again"

And you're going to tell me ppl bought the 360 why? "It's a better Xbox" Damn straight, they didn't need any E3 either and ppl would've bought it because Bill Gates "made it" and it has Halo 3 coming to it. Ppl go to the store (or see a commercial), see it's "graphics" ask the counter attendent "how much is it?" then they buy it. It'll be the same for PS3.

It's fashionable and cool to hate everything and anything Microsoft so no... people won't just buy it because Bill Gates "made it". And with all the lies Sony spit out last gen, that as an idiot (casual gamer) at the time I actually believed... I was let down alot. Now, here we go again with a bunch of big claims coming from the Sony camp but this time... they have real competition so chances are they're going to keep their word but if they don't... they'll still be number one!

There's nothing wrong with a healthy bit of controversy, but I can tell this thread is already going downhill fast.
