I am confused, Why, u already have 2 and 4 Gig, why go smaller?
Is it only to upsell after a person after they buy the 1 Gig and say "Crap, I'm outta space already!".

I think its stupid. What we need is more storage not some pussy 1gig. Atleast with a creative player you can have over 100gigs.

Is it only to upsell after a person after they buy the 1 Gig and say "Crap, I'm outta space already!".It seems they dropped the Shuffle prices even lower and gave people a low capacity option with a screen. Sure, you'll say but for $50 I can get 'X' more storage. What do you think Apple wants? Even if you complain about the price they sell like hot cakes. So I think Apple has marketing and pricing down. That is unless you have a marketing/business degree.

:thumbl: :|

Anyways, people will buy it if they don't want or have 2-4 GIGS OF MUSIC. In that sense, we should all have 60gb iPods because they are only $150 more than 4 gigs. Oh, wait, not everyone needs or has that much storage/music. Now a 1 GB shuffle is cheaper than most 1GB usb drives. It is a great move doodz.

P.S. I looked on Creative's website and couldn't find anything over 30GB, can you... link me?

^Doesnt mean its not a 100gb mp3 player.True, but you can hack anything and make it "better". Sadly, the 200 GB iPod Nano was a hoax.

^I actually prefered the older generation ipods than the new video ones for weight and size. They might look better thiner but something a little chunkier would feel better in my hand.

Far as other 1Gb mp3 players go its a bit more expensive. Most 1Gb players run you 100.

Personally I have a 60Gb iPod and a 60Gb Zen. (The Zen is older) Would have gotten the Creative Vision:M but they dont come in a 60Gb version, since the only reason I got a new player at all was because of video playback.

^Doesnt mean its not a 100gb mp3 player.

I dont really think that was his point. You could also strap a rocket on a Nissan sentra and make it travel faster than a Ferrari but no ones going to compare them because it wasnt made that way.

Its called comparing stock hardware.

Its called comparing stock hardware. Thanks, for the support on stock products. I've overclocked and hacked up my Power Mac G3 to perform way beyond and stock one ever could. I know both sides of buying stock models and personalizing your own. I was surprised the 30 GB model was as thin as my iPod Mini. I have small hands to the only iPod that fits mine is the Shuffle. *sob*
