Who knows for sure, but do check out the whole 2page article. Here is the tag line:
At the recent ShmooCon hacking conference, one security researcher found out the hard way that such venues can be hostile, when an unknown hacker took control of the researcher's computer, disabling the firewall and starting up a file server.

It's just more FUD. We still get near monthly security updates from Apple. It's not like they're not doing anything.

Anyways, the "Year of the OS X Exploit" has apparently been the past five years. And no, the Intel processor won't open any security loop holes.
