This morning, out of nowhere, it got foggy. And I mean foggy, you couldnt see shit 2 feet in front of you, so getting to school was quite nerve wrecking especially during rush hour. But school was quite a bitch also, but who cares, I get out early. So my band has a concert on december 12. May be far away but shit will come by quick, and we havent practiced in quite a while, and we dont even have a CD yet. So today we decided to record in our Guitar class after school.
This shit took FOREVER!! My god....we only needed to do 5 songs and it took quite a load of hours to do. Infact I just got back from finishing. Turns out our guitarist forgot some of the songs we played on account of not practicing for a while. Finally after 10 tries of getting the song down, we go ahead and try to record this bitch, only to find out that it sounded like shit and had to put even more extra hours trying to equalize it manually. Then comes the groupies, they are the main problem. They keep making fucking noises when were trying to record, one even dropped a basket ball near my drum set and fucked up the song, so we had to do it over and over again. Finally when the groupies left at 6:30 we finally got this CD down. But oh wait!! we accidentally recorded over the other song, so now we gotta do it AGAIN. Eventually it got done. But man people, if you're gonna record music and shit, be prepared. Its a BITCH!
So yeah thats my post for the day. I dont know why I just shared that with you, I dont know....maybe im bored, and I am pretty fucking tired, possibly delousional, meh, whatever. But hey if that CD turns up good, I could possibly send you guys a couple of MP3s. My band could always use some input. Hell you could even visit our website. Its pretty shitty right now but....hey I stink at HTML I could always use some help, for those of you that know how to do HTML and graphics for it.
