Microsoft revealed this morning that its Platinum Hits Program, a new line of budget priced game titles for the Xbox, will begin today offering an initial line-up of 16 games priced at $19.95 each. Titles at the launch of this program include Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, Max Payne, Project Gotham Racing, Amped Freestyle Snowboarding, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3, Star Wars: Obi-Wan, Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions, Blood Wake, Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee, Simpsons Road Rage, SSX Tricky, SpyHunter, Star Wars: Starfighter, James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire, RalliSport Challenge, and Silent Hill 2. Microsoft says that it will continually add new games to this budget range of games. Nintendo and Sony offer similar programs for their respective consoles, so no matter what console system you own it looks like you’ll be able to pick up game software for a relatively low price. Look for all of Microsoft’s Platinum Hits Program Xbox games in stores everywhere beginning today.

$19.95 each seems much better than $29.95 each. Oh well, this is great news for XBOX owners. I might buy myself one soon.

Because it's still selling like hotcakes; why isn't GTA3 a "greatest hit"?

Everyone calm down, he's a fanboy and you can't change his stubborn ways. I too know he's full of shit, but for future comments, just say "whatever"

I think that any "platnium, greatest hit, players choice" should be 19.95.

That said how the @#$% did Obi-Wan go platnium? That game sucked, oh well it's all about the money right?
At lest now I can get some "quality" titles for 20 bucks each.

Scizor666, don't get Agent Under Fire. I bought it, and that game sucks, worst James Bond game, get Nightfire instead, 100's of times better.

Obi-Wan went platinum in order for them to have more cheap games look like Greatest Hits. Sony does the same thing to move crappy game, make it a budget title.
