I forget when it came out but a friend of mine showed me the game and I got addicted to it. I am a pretty good gamer and probably a quike leaner so when I started playing the game at his house I totally sucked for some reason. Anyway I bought the game and well I defeated the hydra in less then a half hour (not exactly sure how long it took but it was short). Anyway it is a kick ass game and I am sure people here have played it. I just wanted to mention it and not to mention the graphics in the game were awsome.

Very fun game to play, I've only played it once over at a mate's place but if I have time, I will probably get it so I can finish the whole game.

Glad to see people like the game.
Yeah I am going to do the extras as well as the Challenge of the Gods ause thats eems just awsome. The friend who got me into it defeated five levels but it took a long time to even get that far. He ended up giving up lol... I probably have a better shot. ^^

if you're good enough you can run through challenge of the gods in around 30 minutes...my latest attempt took me about an hour.
if you get stuck on the 10th challenge just know that you only have to do three attacks. the one that knocks em up in the air, the one that knocks em down from that move, and if you're using the blades of chaos instead of the blade of artemis, the attack where you slam the blades into the ground causing a circle of lava around you (tap o twice instead of charging it up).
you should have fun with the cyclops when you get to them:D

It's great to hear more people getting ahold of this fantastic title.
Challenge of the Gods isn't too hard if you know how to play right. the frustrating part is the challenge where you have to take out these 5 or six skeletal zombies with a mounted bow without hitting any of the humans.
After you finish Challenge of the Gods, you should try your hand at God mode. It's by far the most satisfying difficulty level.
Several of the members here (including myself) have already managed to beat it.
You get a pretty cool treat at the end for your effort too.

Guru, at the part where you have to shoot the arrows at the skeletal warriors, and not the humans, you just wait until a skeletal warrior is at the northeast part of the circle and then begin to pull back the arrow. It's efficient and saves a lot of time on that stage. Just thought I'd share. :D
And yes, God mode was a real bitch. Still, so worth the satisfatction. :P

Thanks for telling me 4 months too late.
God mode didn't seem that hard at all after beating the game at the Spartan difficulty setting.
I even beat the Kratos clones only on my second try.

It is indeed an amazing game... I picked it up last week. Sadly though, one of it's flaws is that it is too short. I finished it in my firsy playthrough in normal in 10 hours 27 mins. On top of that it's is a little easy... Granted I didn't play God Mode of even spartan but even on normal the game was a breeze.
Those are just the negatives... aside from those 2 flaws the game is simply amazing. It has top notch graphics, awesome animations, cool moves that you can upgrade, neat puzzle that I found pretty unique, and a decent story. This game is a must buy for anyone who calls themself a gamer.

My only gripe with the game is that their are only three boss battles.
When it comes to difficulty, you might change your mind when going into Spartan level difficulty.
It's not what you would think to be a "marginal" increase in difficulty.

Well, It's a Greatests Hits title now. Imagine, you could have saved $30 if you waited for feedback :)

It's greatest hit? I'm going to go pick it up...I sold my copy for like $40 because it was still new. BUt now i feel like playing it over so im going to buy it again like a jack-ass LOL...And God mode is the same as Spartan-u just die quicker. THe AI isn't harder or smarter-which is one of the gripes when comparing GoW to DMC3. With DMC3-the enemies actually get smarter and do things they won't do on certain levels. In GoW, the jump from normal to spartan is great-but God mode could've been better. And 3 boss battles? (amazing btw) come'on SantaMonica...
