What a game.
What a powerhouse it was.
Lidström's goal 8 seconds fresh into the 3rd period was a fucking canon.
Pure and brute force!
The first 10 minutes were insane and not to mention the last two minutes. Finland more or less crushed sweden into atoms in the final seconds of the game.
But we prevailed and the finnish lion was put to rest.
What a day!

I live in Sweden right now, and watched the entire game live, man it was insane to hear the commentators scream. XD. Sweden played an amazing game, they deserve every bit of that gold.

Both were great teams going into the finals, so we knew it was going to be an awesome game. Congrats Sweden!

since 1960 we won the olympics twice: in 1994... and 2006. usa won once in 1980 (25 years ago).

In the world championships USA didnt win a single time since 1960...
