If you look around on that website, it says that joe will be on N-Gage and PSP, how is that possible? N-Gage's screen is vertical, and PSP's is horizontal.

Probably because you're a NintFanboy.

And yeah, I really want the PSP.

Joe. What a creative title. Anyway, Yeah when I first saw this thread I thought Viewtiful Joe and got all excited. Meh..

Yo Shmag, we don't exactly know what the PSP will look like.

I thought they'd said it would have a 16x9 screen...but maybe that was just a rumor.

here are reasons why the psp might not do as well:

1) look at the price tag, who would buy a 550$ handheld, it is more expensive than the ps2 itself. Nintendo will definitley will release a system with the same or more powerful graphics for a lower price. Although it might not have all of the extra features like the psp, it will still sell better. A great example is the n-gage. It is cheaper than the psp, has a lot of extra options and it is barely selling.

2) When was the last time a playdo looking game released or has ever been a hit (never).

what pricetag..i dont think a price has been announced as of yet

Nintendo will definitley will release a system with the same or more powerful graphics for a lower price.
would be nice if true..but most likely they will go head-to-head with the SP + some attachments or some 'new announced thing' in the spring...which most likely be a new portable system.

PSP > Ngage...plus the playstation name can do wonders for selling...Nokia is new to the biz and flopped...no comparison

That doesn't look bad actually, Nokia are going to need a lot of help if they need to boost sales of the N-Gage.

They said the price would be cheap. Very. Somewhere around 150. But that may change.

Fishbone...do you by any chance live under a rock?

Sony has never given a price but they also said the PS and PS2 would launch at good prices.....whatever.

Koei, PSPs first signed developer, has stated that it will sell for $550.00.

That game does not look worth a console price tag, PERIOD. And I'm not one to hold graphics in high standards.

We still need to remember that Nintendo's life is threatened by the PSP. It will suck no doubt about it. But dont tell me that anybody in here is crazy enough to put down 550 bucks for it. That friggin nuts.

Maybe if Nintendo made better hand helds like the PSP, and good price, then they would have increased sales because alot of older kids would even buy it.

I bought the GB Pocket and the GBA. They are all good. Nintendo made a huge mistake in not putting in a backlight to begin with.

they are completely different because Kirby, etc. Were made to look as if you were in a cartoon world. While this one is in an actual play-do world.

aight, gumby-hater, don't criticize games before you play them. my roommate does that all the time to some of my best games.
