- $599 for the 1.5 GHz Intel Solo Core
- $799 for the 1.67 GHz Intel Duo Core

Intel Integrated 950 Graphics though and SODIMM RAM.

Nothing too exciting really, fairly predictable. It's certainly not as cheap as I hoped, and I wouldn't really want to have to choose the base model over the better one. Also, Intel Integrated graphics? Yuck.

Yeah, HD playback is still CPU based on the other Intel Macs. So yes, enjoy your 1080p on the Duo Core. It might be passable on the Solo.

I would still spend the extra money to get the iMac with intel. I knew the mini was going to get its overhaul sooner or later.

As a media center, the Mac mini is far better. But damn, I can see the MacBook Pro kicking ass as well. Could you use those as a hoshposh Xserve?

I mean for $50 more I can get (insert more storage here).

But sharing is new to Front Row. So now I can get a wireless keyboard/mouse and browse the net/ run visualizer on my HDTV.
