Get over here! At Midway's Pulse event in Los Angeles yesterday, the publisher announced four titles that are in development for Xbox Live Arcade. Sometime in 2006, 360 owners can look forward to Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, the arcade-classic Defender, Root Beer Tapper and the NES-classic Paperboy.
Midway didn't announce any dates other than 2006, nor did it announce the cost of the downloads. UMK3 should, however, have online play. We'll keep you posted as Midway announces further details.
i think i would pay for all of those.

I wouldn't. I really like the Idea of XBL I hate the prices. There not expensive but I wouldn't pay for games I own or can play easily elsewhere. Even with online still dosen't interest me.

Yay for Paperboy, I loved that game, even though I had no idea it was a Midway game.

Sweet, UMK3 with online support. Hopefully it'll allow more than two players in the same room (see DOA 4).
All we need now: San Francisco Rush 2049.

No I wasen't refereing to those. I was refering to countless other LEGAL means of playing them like my cousins owns Mortal Kombat. And so on. I was refering to the fact that these games have been re-released countless times and can easily be played by other means.

Paper boys nes? I wonder if we will see any other 3rd party SNES or NES games comne to Live Crazy :honor:
actually this just made me think: some publishers may test the water with their old classic releases on Arcade. they could make more money selling each title than publishing their 'collection' games (or do both anyways).
if this takes off, I expect many to follow suit and release their own classics individually.
Ninty will be doing this with Rev anyway (charging on some classics).
now there's a possibility.
