I have songs on my windows media player that I have ripped from albums. I want to be able to send these to my friends via msn, but they can't play them. Is there a way around this? (We all use windows media player).

Try converting them to mp3s (and back again, if you want them as .wmp files.)
I use a program called Easy CD/DA Extractor.
Alternatively, you could put them into an audio editing program and save them into a new file.
Maybe, I don't know.

And next time turn off the windows media player copy protection as a forsight. It gives you the option. Say you get a portable MP3/WMA player, the copy protection will hurt if you have loads of music on your pc already.

Use a different program. CDEX is pretty good, I use it quite often.

I have also used WinAMP before too, but it rips very slow, even with pro.

Let us all agree that since this is actually illegal, it probably shouldn't be discussed like this.

Audio Hijack, cause if they copyright the vibrations of air then we're screwed anyways.
