Internet problem

I'm having an odd problem where the e-mpire website seems to be the only website that will load correctly. Google, Yahoo, Wikipedia don't seem to be working much at all.

I've reset my wireless router, reset my ibook... Still the same. Any ideas?

I've tried both Safari and Firefox.

delete your chace/cookies, ping/traceroute to each system and see differences.

Kill IPv6 in your Network Preference pane. Basically, set it to off.

root > library > preferences > com.apple.Safari.plist <--- delete this
root > library > preferences > org.mozilla.firefox.plist <--- delete this

Make sure both programs are closed before doing this [obviously].

Some of your settings in Firefox/Safari may be interfering with the way pages load. You'll have to change your settings over again, though...but that doesn't take long.

Try that and see if it works.
