I prefer the term "apprentice mercenary". It slightly lessens people's laughter when they ask, and it's modest. You know, it's kind of annoying, cause when you tell someone you're an apprentice mercenary, they always laugh or stare or whatever. It's always some manner of disbelief. I know it's not a common profession, but it's not like mercenaries are ficticious. They aren't just in the movies. They're real people doing a real job, and they don't just fall out of the sky knowing how to do the job. It's something you train for. I dunno... I guess I'm just getting tired of people asking me, and then not believing me when I tell them.

First off, you got those prices all wrong. That haircut, which is just my usual haircut, cost $12 plus tip, at Supercuts. There are two knives; the first one, a Colt Combat Commander, cost approx $40, and the second, a genuine KABAR, cost about $65. The gloves I stole a long time age, and I'm just using them until I get my new pair. The earbud is a rather cheap one, but it goes to the radio strapped to the back of my belt. Although, I didn't have it on in the pics. Another thing I don't bring home with me. I didn't get that t-shirt from Wal-mart either. It's just a bulk black shirt from whatever supplier we use. I paid for knives, tac vest, belt, taser, pants, and boots (Original SWAT 9" combat steel toes, not pictured) myself.

And as for working at McDonalds, I do have a "day job". I work for a building management company. Like I said, this is more of an apprenticeship, until after I get out of the Marine Corps... unless I choose re-enlsit or pursue another career. So I do somewhat sympathize with your mockery-masked jealousy. But hey, not everyone is cut out for this stuff. Also, while I find your brilliant MS paint manipulation of my picture cute, in the sort of way parents find the art projects of their 5 year olds cute, I will kindly ask you not to do it again. And no, I certainly will not kill you. I'm not being trained to kill for vengeance, and unfortunately, not to correct ignorance either. I've worked with a few former soldiers among other servicemen, and they certainly weren't as high and mighty as you.
