I'm about to get a PS2 that is a no swap mod
It can play original games, dvd, dvd r games, cd's and everything
but not cd-r games
Any idea why?
Also, should I trade my platinum gamecube with
2 memory cards
2 controllers (1 thrid party)
Star Fox
Metroid

for a no swap mod ps2 with
1 controller
1 16mb mem card
dvd kit
game shark

Well, what do you guys think?

I have a swap disk mod. It is the fliptop with PS2 swap magic disks. Get that it includes a disk for dvd games and cd-r games. And best yet it does not alter functionality of original games or dvd playback because no computer parts art altered. Just a new matching cover that flips up for the PS2 and boot disks. All done in software.

No way. Keep your Gamecube and ask for a PS2 for Christmas if you really want it.

I thought it was gonna be trade trade trade
But it seems iffy
because it wont read cd-rs so Im thinking what else doesnt work?
But a no swap mod ps2 is like $400 so I duno what's going on
But I paid veyr little for my GC, which is partially why I don't mind giving it up I paid roughly $70 USD for it, brand new with a game
hmmm, making me thinkg about whether I should trade or not

No it doesn't. PS2 has the lest hardcore fanboys around. The most hardcore are definetly Nintendo fanboys...
