Now can someone pretty please upload the high res version with this (http://www.yousendit.com./) :smoke:
This is totally amasing... but why is it in the XBOX360 section ?
Will it be released on the XBOX360 ?
the lighting is crazy. though I am not that interested in the actual game concept, I am keen on the technology behind it.
the good news is that Red 5 Studios (http://www.red5studios.com/) will be using the Offset Engine:
Red 5 Techs Up - February 13, 2006
Red 5 is now powered by the Offset Engine. Our new MMO will offer cinematic quality, next-gen graphics thanks to the amazing tech by Offset Software. Head on over to Project Offset to see their sample movies, or read our press release here. Honestly, it is some impressive stuff, and we're very happy to be partnering with such a great, new game company.

That's a pretty sweet video... It seems they have also updated their site with some art of main part of the game aswell. Nice to see this game is moving along.

That's pretty awesome. The bright lights look really washed out though. Is this a cross platform game? The xbox 360 version wouldn't support HDR, or would it? The reason I ask is cuz it's under the 360 section, and the brightest brights do look really blown out. If it's cross platform, will they be using hdr on the ps3 version?
it isn't for anything right now. they are aiming at licensing their engine. the actual game isn't really a game at all. they are only clips here and there. they may evolve into an actual game some day, but as they themselves admited, a publisher is vitally needed to cover both cost and personel that such a game will demand. sadly, fairy tails don't exist.
as for the current clips, they are running on PC.

Looks nice but I think the lighting is a little crappy. The textures are amazing, along with the fluidness in the motion. The lighting is overdone or they have a lack of HDR cause it bleeds everything out.

Most of that is due to this being cam footage. It appears washed out and blurry because of it. Give it a while for them to post a direct feed version on their website before you pass any major judgements. Should be soon (I believe they mentioned back a while ago that "preview 3" was on the way).

 I really liked every part of the demo, and their lighting seems to have matured. I would definately like to see a game they made come from this as they seem to be very creative in the scenes and characters they use to implement this technology, but I'm glad someone else is using the engine too.
