Okay, I'm not sure how long it's been like this, but it's been for at least a matter of weeks, anyway.
My cursor doesn't seem to know where the right side of my screen is. It behaves just fine with the left, top, and bottom borders of the screen, but likes to keep on going past the right. Everything is fitting to the screen just the way it should, so it's not as if I need to adjust the image alignment or anything like that.
It's not a huge issue, but it's sort of annoying at times. If you're playing a video game and click off the right edge of the screen, it yanks you out of the game to the desktop, which is inconvenient. A few times, Windows Media Player has opened completely off the right side of the screen, and the only way I can fetch it is to explode my resolution to 1280 X 1024. (I don't use that resolution normally because everything's too small.) If the cursor vanishes off the screen without you noticing, it takes a moment to find it since you'd normally expect it to be on the screen somewhere.
So, um..., any ideas why my computer can't figure out that the cursor shouldn't run off the right edge of the screen? It's kinda like it knows I have it set to display at 1024 X 768 and is properly displaying accordingly, but like the mouse thinks it's setup for some funky-butt widescreen format. (I don't have a widescreen format with a height of 768 but a width exceeding 1024.)
