Word to the Wise
Windows running on a Mac is like Windows running on a PC. That means it’ll be subject to the same attacks that plague the Windows world. So be sure to keep it updated with the latest Microsoft Windows security fixes.
Zing!
I would never do this. I would much rather buy a competent gaming rig or POS laptop before I would ever waste 10+ gigs on XP... That and I can't wait to see the Apple support site being flooded with "I got a virus, now what?"
Whatever, just as long as Mac OS stays Mac, I will be happy.
Oh,
(That’s the “alt” key for you longtime Windows users.)
I swear, I love that page just because it addresses PeeCee peeoplee like idiots.

I like the idea in a way (mostly cause XP won't run unless you tell it to) but even still viri are gonna rip a hole in that so fast...>.<

Well I like it too.. but the thing is, does microsoft have plans to buy Apple! I mean this is a great company with alot of great products and software as well.. but this doesnt show a very good move made by Apple, ok it sure shows some flexibility by running both OS but why dont try to run Linux!?

(They'd love to have iTunes/iPod though.) I don't think anyone in Apple would even allow that.
“Apple has no desire or plan to sell or support Windows, but many customers have expressed their interest to run Windows on Apple’s superior hardware now that we use Intel processors,” said Philip Schiller

You don't run linux because it is a Mac. You run Windows just for your one accounting program that is not Mac.

The only way a virus could effect a dual boot system is if it attacks the Master Boot Record or just erases the drive.
Most Windows viruses/worms try to zombify your computer to make money, DoS, or spam people.

Ic now! and what about the gaming aspect? can we play on those amazing machines the lastest games?Yes, you'll need a full copy of Windows though. (No hardware tied OEM from a manufacturer.)
I'm not running Windows just for games. I'll keep buying OS X games.

Any idiot running ANY operating system that gives out personal information to a fake website is vulnerable. It's a matter of social engineering and not an operating system.

And the fact that they don't know that SU can check once a day or when ever the user wants. No what I find annoying is having to rebuild Windows boxes from infestations. Windows machines rarely get patched even with Automatic Updates turned on. I go around to check on my Mac users and they're all up to date.
