Since there is no Sony section I placed it here.
I have word from a birdie that the PSP is having a recall due to problems with the battery.
Now I did not hear this clearly but it has something to do with the battery exploding or shocking the user.
This is no BS and I am serious. If you have a PSP be careful with it.

I'm using the forum that loads quick and it doesn't show. As for the PSP comment that is valid I did over hear that.

It could very easily just be an April Fool's joke that you heard, there don't seem to be too many details...

This is either an april fools joke or just a rumour like how store employees were saying there was a recall on the 360. It's all bullshit. Unless you have a relevent source posting this information, this thread will be closed.

When I play my PSP submerged under water, it always seems to electrocute me. :P

In that case they would just recall the battery pack itself. But since there is no official word and you can not provide a source. Thread closed. Once the official word gets out then we can have a thread. But i'm gonna have to categorize this under rumours with some anti-sony conotations.
