Wow... I don't believe it. At all. Miyamoto is obsessed with Nintendo. Plus, he's Japanese. And he wouldn't want to defect to an American company.

Then again, Microsoft is really shoring up its Japanese strategy... so this could be part of it. If it's true, then SHIT.

Edit: Plus, the article alleges (I think) in the last sentence that MSFT's stock went up 2.5% on the NASDAQ today (could be mistaken, I'm no good at German). But, MSFT's stock just went down down down all day today, and there is no news out about Miyamoto. Besides, I doubt one developer switching over could influence Microsoft's stock that much. But maybe I'm just misreading the whole thing.
