3 colours at launch?

Hey people, if there isn't 3 colours at launch then who's gonna wait for the colour they want to be released? I can't see there being 3 colours when the console launches, what with shortages being predicted. If only one colour is launched first then which colour will it be?

Playstation - Grey
Playstation 2 - Black
Playstation 3 - White???

I believe they said only Grey/Silver would be available at launch... Or was it black? I do remember it's one colour, and it's a dark colour too.

As for waiting, lots of people. Not everyone has 400 bucks to plunk down on a new console the day it comes out.

I would love the white one but there could be some delay before all colours are seen. I mean, the white PSP was shown amongst other colours when announced but Japan are only just seeing that colour now.

I like grey since it's in between. White will show marks too easily and black could be like a dust magnet...

PS systems have always had one color initially. I don't remember a color being announced. those who say a grey one was, can you post a link please?

I think iut is stillundetermined. by they way, they showed four colors so far- one being aluminum. people keep forgetting that one for some reason.

Aluminum? That's a material, not a color, right? Even so, I imagine aluminum being somewhat like Silver/Grey...

aluminum is indeed a color and yes, it is close to silver- for some.

in reality, aluminum, silver and grey are very different colors. think about them as how deep dark green/brown/blue and black are to each other.

look at the any official pics of PS3 in the stands where 4 units are shown. each unit has a different color :)
