Its that new Nick Cage movie. I saw it and thought it was pretty good. He does a good job at playing his character, a guy who has alot of problems that need to be sorted out but nothing goes his way. These kind of movies arn't really my thing (well, the whole Drama genre isnt really...) but I found The Weather Man enjoyable. It was probably the large amount of childish swearing and all the dumb, silly shit he does.
Minor spoiler ahead:
Youll have to see it to know what Im really talking about, but theres this one bit where he goes to his wifes home because his son has just been arrested and his wifes boyfriend (they got divorced or something) is talking to him about his son and how he is handling it. As he walks in he is talking off his leather gloves and Nick Cage narrates what he is thinking: "I don't know why I did what I did next, maybe it was because I was taking off my gloves" and he takes his gloves off and slaps the guy across the face.
Theres lots of funny stuff in it like that were he just does stuff on impulse. The narration is good because its what he is thinking and hes like a child or something.
Thats it for my crappy 'review', Id give it a 7 or 8 out of 10. (probably an 8). Id recommend it to anyone who thinks it could be interesting if they watch the trailer. Otherwise it may not be your thing.
