that with the ps3 linux. that you can download like limewire and stuff like that. or go to websites and be able to download stuff?

Anyway I know you can go to websites and I know theres a Limewire for Linux but im not sure if the Linux on the PS3 will be a full blown Linux and we wont know for sure until E3.

I have been wondering the same thing... will you be able to operate the PS3 like a regular home PC. It does have internet browsing and everything that certainly allows you to do so. We'll just have to see how restricted linux is on PS3.

Other than the price, I wonder what other bombs Sony will drop at E3 ?, is hardware upgrades (eg RAM) not a possiblitly because dev kits have allready gone out ?....how about a CPU speed upgrade ?

Console hardware is static because the games from launch day have to be able to play the last day the console is release. And games that come out for ps3 6 years from now have to be playable on consoles that came out launch day.
Consoles hinge on their uniform design. And ram is not gonna make a significant difference! Everyone get that out of your head! PS3 is finalized, end of story!
